Cancellations made thirty(30) days or more prior to your arrival date, no charges will be made.

Cancellations made less than thirty (30) days prior to your arrival, will require you to be fully responsible for the entire reservation.

If we can rebook your reservation a full or partial refund will be made, minus a $50 processing fee.

KAYAK RENTAL

We charge $25 per person per day for use of our kayaks.

Please bring cash, or personal check for kayak rentals.

FOOD & BEVERAGES

You will need to bring your own food and beverages. We have a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, sink, pots and pans, dishes and utensils provided. Propane is limited, due to our remote location. Please plan dishes for stove-top preparation and try to do your baking at home if possible. If you will have food and beverages that need to be kept cold, bring an ice chest. Please recycle your own glass, aluminum and plastic.

FIREWOOD

Please bring firewood with you for indoor wood stoves, saunas, or campfires. By bringing your own firewood, you help us to keep our overnight rates low. Getting firewood delivered would require us to raise our rates considerably, so we ask that you help everyone out by bringing in your own! We are located in a rainforest and foraging for dry wood is difficult. Firewood is usually available at local shops including Safeway, Seward Marketplace, The Fish House, Essential One, or Miller’s Landing.

LIGHTING

Kayakers Cove is off grid meaning without electricity. Please bring headlamps, flashlights, and lanterns (battery, propane, solar operated).

CLOTHING

Bring warm, layered clothing with you. Long underwear, wool, fleece, warm socks, rain gear, and rubber boots, or shoes that can get wet are all essential. If you don't have rubber boots, we do have a limited selection available for you to use. Also, a cozy pair of indoor shoes is nice to have.

SLEEPING BAGS

Please bring your own sleeping bags and pillows. We no longer provide bedding. Sleeping bags may be rented for $5 per stay.

DOGS

Unfortunately, dogs are no longer allowed at Kayakers Cove, for liability reasons.
