GETTING HERE

Making the Trip to Kayakers Cove

Kayakers Cove is definitely off the beaten path. Our rugged wilderness setting can't be accessed by automobile or plane. The only way in is by boat. We recommend you use one of two services: Seward Water Taxi, or Miller's Landing's water taxi. You can contact them using the information provided below, or, if you have questions, give us a call. We'll be glad to help.

Seward Water Taxi

Seward Water Taxi provides water taxi service from Seward Boat Harbor directly to Kayakers Cove. The company has been in business for over a decade and is owned and operated by Captain Louis Garding, a former biologist who's lived in our area since 1997. Each of the company's two landing craft has plenty of room for you and any gear you bring, including kayaks. All in all, Seward Water Taxi is an excellent water taxi service with reasonable rates. We highly recommend them.

Miller's Landing

Miller's Landing, located just a few minutes south of downtown Seward on Lowell Point, runs water taxis to Kayakers Cove every two hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. They have two 36-foot landing crafts available for the trip, and each has plenty of room to transport you and your gear. Like Seward Water Taxi, Miller's Landing has great service at reasonable rates. We highly recommend the company, as well.
